Why do I take pictures? I can think of more reasons not to. It would probably be better to let the beauty and ugliness be. Rather than to try and capture it. To be in this world rather than to be an observer.

I think I play both roles at different times. It is difficult to resist the temptation to make permanent the fleeting moment. And yet, I realize I have not preserved anything.

I suppose it is also about connecting with someone else, as if to say "this is how I see things." It saves me from the inadequacy of words. A step closer to allowing you into my dreams.
